I got into State of Decay 2 because of him. I first played SOD1 in 2019, and after finishing it tried SOD2 but couldn’t figure out the mechanism of the game so I stopped playing it. In 2020 during Covid lockdown I discovered his youtube channel, his guides on base building, skill specialization, plague hearts were very helpful to me and with those guides I managed to successfully finish the game. Since then I have been hooked up to this series. Later I discovered other SOD content creators but had it not been for Git Gud Fox, SOD1 would have been the end of my journey.

But what happened to him? His final video covering SOD2 was 3 years ago. Him not making any new SOD2 contents was understandable given that most of his videos were tips & tricks and after 2023 there wasn’t really much room for new tips & tricks contents, but given that SOD3 is in the horizon I expected to see new contents from him covering SOD3 news. It was kinda surprising to see his last SOD2 video was in January 2023, because I expected him to be covering the SOD3 alpha gameplay. Is he not even in the players council? Does anyone know why he suddenly stopped making SOD videos altogether, because he still makes videos on other games and he also replies to his comments but when someone asks him something about State of Decay in these new videos he doesn’t reply.

I know this question isn't directly about the game but he was one of my favourite SOD content creators and seeing this complete radio silence from him is making me worried a bit

In the last few years we heard a lot about the new and improved relationship system between characters in SOD3. But in the 2026 gameplay trailer, the dev interviews by the players council members and in Brian's recent gameplay videos - nothing about this relationship system was discussed. Has it been cancelled? I had been so hyped about this system and not hearing any discussion about it is making me a bit anxious.
