I know the Ballon Bleu does not get a lot of love here, but I think it’s beautiful. It was between this and the Tank, but my preference was for a round watch. I went for the 40mm, which was hard to get hold of as it was sold out everywhere. 36mm felt a bit too small for me.
Hi everyone. I have never owned a Cartier before, looking for my first dress watch. 44 year old male. I am torn between the Tank and the Ballon Bleu. Just want to get opinions. I will try both on before I buy. The Tank seems to be more classic but I do love the unique style of the BB.
Just to say I am not interested in resale value. I just want to own and wear a beautiful watch for the next 20+ years! Otherwise I am aware that the BB loses value faster than the Tank.
