David really messed up with the Swindon lot.

I can empathise a bit, I remember in some jobs trying way too hard to impress people and it massively backfiring. And I remember one job where we had a mass intake of new starters and the culture shifted massively and I didn’t really feel part of the social vibe in that office (I subsequently naffed off).

But even David being half as prattish and half as complacent could’ve survived the merger. But the David that we saw is 100% responsible for his own downfall.

The Christmas Special was a stitch up on Neil. You laugh at one Chris Finch joke, and you're labelled a jerk...and that's the game

It was stitch up. They had hours and hours of footage of Neil being so kind and tolerant towards Brent, even though Brent was being a jerk to Neil, even during the Christmas special.

Twice Brent was caught on camera being rude to Neil by not shaking his hand when they met, and he still tried to undermine Neil and be a dick to him by showing up at his job even though Brent didn't even work there anymore.

So finally, it comes to the Christmas party, he's having a good time, he's hanging out with his pal Finchy, having a few drinks, he laughs at one joke...and now everyone says Neil is the jerk.

Okay there was also the comment that Neil made earlier about Brent needing two tickets to the party, but that was it and that was nothing compared to all the bullying and rude behavior that Brent had done towards Neil.

Brent was the real jerk and it was all a stitch up by the BBC to make Brent look good and Neil look bad.

Jennifer Taylor-Clarke didn’t bother dressing up on Red Nose Day. Gareth was hopping, David had the ostrich costume, even Neil dressed up and danced. What did Taylor-Clarke do? Nothing, just wore her usual black attire to sack Brent. She is no fun and she doesn’t care about the Africans. Pathetic!

She’s the exact opposite of a chilled out entertainer, the uptight fun monitor

Janie pleaded to not be fired: "Please, let me resign." She was out but would be paid through the end of the calendar year.

She told ESPN she felt disappointed and disrespected, like a crumpled-up piece of paper thrown into the trash.

The only Buss still part of the team was Jeanie, driver of the sale to Walter and the team's governor since Jerry Buss died in 2013.

"She fired everyone," a team official told ESPN.
