Is any bar showing the England game tonight?

English fan coming in peace….

I’m staying in Milano for a few weeks and I was just wondering if the 1am kick off will be shown anywhere in Milan and if any fellow expats want to grab a beer.

Can the pundits and commentators stop saying “after Congo” or discussing who we are going to play in the QF.

I was there when we lost to Iceland, I remember trying to scout tickets for the QF, because I assumed that Iceland would be a gimme. It was ridiculous looking back.

I was watching G Nev and talksport’s Cundy on YouTube and they both went “after Congo” as an affirmitive.

Not only should you never ever underestimate your opponents, but this kind of arrogance is really unbecoming. Look at Germany ffs!

English media should stop this kind of narrative and focus on the game in hand instead of worrying about who we may or may not meet in the Semis. It’s just absolutely ridiculous.

What’s more badass than literally learning an entire language for a film role? Well deserved Oscar for DeNiro here…

England vs Argentina 1998. Simeone dives on the ground as Beckham tries to get to his feet and Sol Campbell has a legitimate header goal ruled out.

What if host nation Russia won that shootout vs Croatia and we had an England Russia semi in 2018?

How did Lorne manage to irritate even a predator-catcher decoy, when her job was basically to keep him talking long enough to maximize the evidence against him?

Can I just say, Fleming and Connery’s Bond wasn’t immature, reckless, prone to go rogue and disobey orders. In Goldfinger, M tells Bond to swallow his own pride for the sake of the mission, and he does. Why is it now a concrete personality type that COMMANDER Bond despises authority?

Mexico for me epitomise “countries that should be good at football but aren’t”

Let me explain. Huge passion for the sport, Latin American Spanish speaking nation which fits the bill of being decent, big population pool to choose from, they are now hosting their third World Cup which is a record. And similar to Brazil, they have a lot of impoverised areas where football would likely be their only escape from poverty. Yet, at the world cup, they are consistently garbage.

Who else belongs here?

Why did Brazil lose 1-7 to Germany? Surely, Brazil weren’t that much worse than Germany man for man, and the heavy lose was more of a psychological and tactical disaster for them?
