Nette Mochi Banane Review

I received Mochi Banane today and I'm deciding if I want to return it. I really like skin scents and rice/musk scents so I knew I had to try this one.

It does in fact smell like banana at the opening but it's light and airy if that makes sense. The marketing images, colors, etc. are all very fitting for this fragrance. It's somehow tropical yet "cold" just like it's described, almost metallic? After a while the banana note fades a lot as others have described and it becomes a ricey musk that stays on the skin. It's verrry powdery and at times smells a little mature/dated because of the powderiness.

Like the description, and like others have described, it is an untraditional gourmand. It's a little sweet but it's much more savory than I expected. There's no salt note but it smells very salty to me, maybe because of the starchiness of the rice. To my nose it also smells a little peppery/spicy even though there are no spice notes.

Kayali Matcha Musk

I smelled this at Sephora today -- they have the full size available now. The reviews seemed mixed but I really like it!

It really does smell a lot like a matcha latte but slightly different - the mate makes it a little more astringent and herbal than a normal matcha but I personally really like that and it gives it a unique earthy profile. If you don't like earthy scents this is not for you.

The dry down is much sweeter but it still keeps some of that matcha-y herbal flavor as it wears.

Really considering buying this one!
