Just the other day, I was revisiting "Angelica Nose Best." In this one, Angelica has found herself trying to be a real girl eating her grandpa's chocolate which was part of a fund raiser, smashing a jigsaw puzzle Didi was working on for over a year, and seeing an antique vase being reduced to shards while framing Spike, Fluffy and the babies. Unfortunately, thanks to Grandpa Lou teaching the babies about the adventures of Pinocchio, they now have the ability to detect lies, even as they become as plain as the nose on Angelica's face.

There are three other take-aways from this episode:

• The sky is blue.
• Playgrounds are fun.
• Grandpa Lou is old.

Tonight's reflection has me thinking about the episode, "Circus Angelicus." When the kids are not having a fun time at the traveling circus in town, Angelica decides to take a page from her father and start her own circus, with lion tamers like Tommy...and jugglers...and trapeze artists like Phil and Lil. Her main attraction, for lack of any other talent, is Chuckie as a human cannonball act.

If anything, any consolation, Angelica's circus actually brought in a crowd that included Susie Carmichael and a handful of animal friends. Considering Tommy's treatment of having Spike as a ferocious lion, the circus was also very animal-friendly, like a box of Barnum's animals.

Now that another live-action Lilo & Stitch movie is on its way, how would you reimagine Angel (Experiment 624)? I played with this idea for years and I had always imagined that she is a more of a baddie. I think she would be the kind of cousin to mess with Lilo, Stitch and company for social media clout.
