Hope everyone enjoy the match…

Meanwhile in my girlfriend’s prison where she is having to serve a sentence the staff repeatedly flip flopped on letting them watch the game tonight before finally deciding they couldn’t. My girlfriend isn’t even a big football fan but she was excited for a potential change in routine and something to look forward too. Our plan had been to both watch it and discuss it tomorrow.

I’m sure this will get the usual replies of ‘she’s in prison what does she expect’ but it’s hardly a big deal and I don’t get why they kept being told one thing and then the other before deciding it wasn’t allowed.

Process of getting a single cell?

Hi there, hopefully it’s ok for me to ask this question. My girlfriend is currently just over 6 months into an 18 month sentence. When she first had to go to prison she was told by her lawyer and even some staff at her facility that after a few months she’d be able to move to her own room.

However over 6 months in now and she’s still sharing a cell. Everytime we speak it’s something she brings up and she’s been asking me if there’s anything either she or I can do to help with the process? Any advice would be much appreciated as it would be great to sort it out for her before the summer starts in earnest so she was her own space for the hotter months.

Thanks a lot.

As anyone had a medical doctor comment negatively on their hair removal?

For context in a guy who gets fully waxed every month, partly for myself but also because my girlfriend likes the way I look like that too.

As I’m turning 30 next month I went for a full physical exam where the doctor obviously saw everything. After I had my clothes back on and was getting ready to leave he turned to me quite briskly as said “By the way, all that hair removal you’re doing won’t be good for your skin. We have pubic hair for a reason you know”.

He didn’t say anything else and left it at that. While I know if you have sensitive skin waxing isn’t ideal I was somewhat taken about by my doctor’s comments.

As anyone else experienced anything similar?
