Could I make Pyke Mid work?

Pretty much the title, I am a low elo scrub and newish player. With the whole low elo people being ass I wonder if it could/would work, as playing strictly support can be boring but I really like Pyke. I dont really care about climbing as I just cant dedicate time to it so it really is just a factor of: being helpful and not feeding.

Thoughts and if possible adivce.

Thanks in advance all

Looking to have a similar champ pool

Just started top laning and been trying to find something that matches my playstyle. Settled on Olaf cause just feels fun to run people down with very little outplay opportunities. Im looking go round out my champ pool with similar concepts or playstyle adjacent (if that makes sense?). I have heard of brusier/duelist/tank etc kind of playstyle words, but haven't wrapped my head around any of it to understand what characters are what.

With all the yap done, is there any recommendations for my champ pool? Whether it be having a different "type" or something similar. Only looking for like 1-2 more picks as not overwhlem myself but dont mind having 1 more for a extreme last resort

Thanks in advance

Queue differences

Hey new-ish player I have been playing a bit of Normals and Swiftplay, not high enough level for ranked. Is there any major diffences between queues for like an enjoyable experience?

Swiftplay feels like a bit of joke but because of time its sometimes the best for time.

Normals its hard to learn somethings because I mainly get stomped in lane with mmr being slightly more relaxed.

Bots are okay but mainly just stomp even the intermidiate level

Is it worth just holding out to play Ranked for a more fair experience?

I understand there are certain variables like doesn't matter which queue cause you will run into smurfs in all of them etc etc. Just want to play the game and feel like I can learn and improve.
