I also have a random E6 welt I guess can be slotted in somewhere for sustainless
I've been mostly out of the loop for a while and been unable to really check up on things but since I'm finally in a place to play HSR again I'm excited to pull and build for Rin.
That having being said, I think quite a few things have changed since I last touched the game? My account is pretty much 70% into Archer's team, 20% into saber's team, and the last 10% into firefly which I think I need to build better since apparently there's a new 3-team option for pure fiction and stuff now? There's also new equipment sets to farm for as well.
My current team is
Archer E6S5 Genius and Rutilant. Need to refarm since I over cap on crit by a lot. Sucks that a different LC is better but oh well.
Sparkle E6 with Sunday sig LC. 2pc Sacerods, 2pc hackerspace at 183 spd (yes ik I need 185) and penacony
DHPT E1S1. 4p Recluse and Lushaka
Rin E?S? If the banner lasts as long as archer/saber then I intend to eventually E6 her and I'll think about additional LCs. I'm guessing she's Genius/Penacony, speed tuned to match sparkle and as much crit rate as I can.
Other than general build advice for archer since I need to refarm his gear anyways and there's new things, is there anything I need to do in particular for E6 rin? I'm not sure how much her having an extra turn changes things with stuff like her speed tuning and build.
Oh and, atk or ERR rope for rin? I swear I see arguments for both and can't figure out which is better
edit: my goal (hope?) is to make rin a viable sub dps or even a dual carry since I have sparkle e6
My friend did a neat play in a mayhem game and asked me to record it so I opened up the replay and I found out that someone on the enemy team was flaming in all chat all game but the thing is I saw absolutely none of it myself?
This isn't the first time either where I go back into a replay and realize there was banter going on. Sometimes I see someone else talking to seemingly nobody in all chat then I find out in post-game lobby that someone on the enemy team was bickering with them all game?
I know there's a joke about me being toxic and I'm getting constantly blocked but I play only a handful of aram games a week and I basically never type since I only play with friends over discord. I doubt I've been blocked by this many people.
Anyone else have this phantom issue?
And just so we're clear, I'm honor level 5 and I have full access to all chat. I can type GG, GLHF, etc in all chat and see most other people.
As someone who plays aram only, I have totaled way too many games of Mayhem on my account, 500+ actually. While it's not the majority or popular voice, I definitely see some people pushing back whenever other people complain about something being overpowered or not fun and I just want to drop my opinion on it
Yes, people don't know how to build correctly. I've been flamed before for my build of Bork, Hurricane, LDR, and guinsoo just to find out that I quadrupled the damage of the adc that was flaming me and went the typical adc build including collector.
And while people love to complain about X, with X rotating every day (mel, brand, tanks, adcs, supports, mages, range, melee, existing, etc), people also just hate to build around it. Enemy has lots of healing? allergic to anti heal. Brand? Build some MR early. Yes, wits end isn't the ideal item on an adc but guess what, you do more damage alive than dead. I've built wits end, mercs, kraken on Cait and I lived to still deal decent damage.
But the game is by definition a casual game mode. Just because I can easily survive a brand, I'm also aware that by doing so I'm losing my own power fantasy and it's just not enjoyable for people. This isn't summoner's rift where you call it a skill issue and say deal with it, this game mode should be balanced around the casuals.
