Beautiful natural vista, close to a train station?

Heya, so I have a friend going through some rough life stuff. I want to help get him out of the house and he agreed somewhere quiet is the best bet.

Tricky bit is I am disabled with a cane, and can't hike or walk more than 200m at a time. I also can't drive due to my disability. I'll bring a picnic lunch in a nanna trolley, but ideally we sit on benches.

So I am wondering if anyone knows of a nice spot for two old broken people to sit quietly and enjoy the view, but accessible from a train from Central. Happy to go intercity all the way to Lithgow, Wollongong and Newcastle.

(Hoping this qualifies for this sun as we'd leave from Central.)

Edit: these are all brilliant. Thank you guys.

It's not the vision loss..

...that scares me. I don't think a life with low vision is less of a life or anything, and I'll choose it over the meds any day.

But these fucking headaches are killing me. I'll put up with the meds IF they stop the headaches. Which they haven't yet.

I'm not even a year diagnosed, headed for my second LP in a few days. At least there will be some relief after they remove some fluid.
