A little confused about the desktop client for macOS...
Recently got a new laptop, and I am in the process of installing all of my apps on it. I must have been running an old version of the Jellyfin Media Player on my old machine, as I went to download a new copy of it on GitHub only to find that it appears to have been discontinued and replaced by Jellyfin Desktop, yet website still lists Jellyfin Media Player as the official client.
Should I continue to use the old Jellyfin Media Player app going forward, or migrate to the Jellyfin Desktop app instead? Is it mainly differences in performance (i.e. Qt vs. Rust), or are there features that are introduced with the new client as well?
Thanks in advance, and sorry for the confusion. I haven't played around with any new clients in a long time :)
