I am torn between Heidi and Jimmy. I think having his perspective and experience would be amazing, and Heidi would bring her PTO perspective which means something to me, but both were hand picked by their respective parties and it’s annoying me. Teresa DeWitt is an obvious no considering she hates public schools, but as long as Megan and Beth win (who are qualified and smart and non political), seat 1 matters not.

Either way, vote! Our community has been calming down after a rough 5 years with partisan culture wars. Please let us maintain that. Let’s culture war in a system that doesn’t raise my kid please.

My family and I travel when we can, and I usually go to that city’s sub for recommendations on things to do with small children, but honestly, the thought of men responding with snark and bad ideas is just not in my cards. However! There is usually a mom who responds with the gold I’m looking for, and I’m wondering if I just go straight to the source?

My family and I (7 and 4 y/o’s) are going to Schenectady in a few weeks and I’m hoping to get some pro tips on living our best life with our kids. We have family in the area, but are staying in Mohawk harbor. Any recommendations for family friendly spots? By that I mean a place where we can get drinks, snacks, and our kids energy out. If you have any favorite spots, I’d love to check them out!
