My wife and I are taking a trip this summer to celebrate anniversary, her birthday, and her finishing her degree. Looking at a 4ish day trip. We live in Texas (near San Antonio) and have spent a good amount of time in the American Southeast (lived in Baton Rouge for a while) and have taken multiple trips to the American West/Southwest. There are aspects of both regions we love.
