Genuinely, how?

For everyone reading the ALL of the books starting with TOG for the first time, being on a timeline to finish the current line up of books before book 6 is released, how are you doing it??? I was numb after KoA and had to read regency romance for two weeks as a palette cleanser because I was forever changed.

So, respectfully, how are you continuing with life?

Reread audio version!

I am rereading ACOTAR in audio format. I always read the books first and if I need a reread, I listen to them because they are so massive and time consuming. I feel like I pick up things that I might have read over too.

When Tamlin is explaining his parents relationship it is obvious he does not like his dad but he speaks softly of his mother and says his mother loved his father deeply, often too deeply because she would never speak a word against him even though he was a harsh tyrant. The story line also eludes to the mating bond playing into this.

Nesta comes along and challenges Rhysand at every turn. Nesta strongly dislikes Rhysand, even in CC. He imprisons her in the house of wind-Feyre insists this is for her own good. Bryce thinks he is a POS for lack of a better term, and Azriel gets angry at Rhysand in the bonus chapter.

The explanation of the mating bond from Tamlin is too profound to just be an explanation of the mating bond. Tamlin keeps reappearing and Nesta is always going to the spring court for meetings. Her relationship with Tamlin has never really been explained, I can’t imagine its great because he forced her into the cauldron but even in beast form she doesn’t explicitly say she hates him, in fact it could be argued she recognizes their shared isolated trauma.

I say all of this to say I think Rhysand will eventually become a tyrant. He is aware he could be a tyrant if given the opportunity and think we are seeing some of that come out in him as we get deeper into his plot line. He likes control, he likes to be in complete control of feyre and anything that happens to her—the protection spell during pregnancy, withholding her pregnancy risks, moving Nesta in the house of wind, all of the games he played with Feyre and keeping the mating bond a secret—all so he can keep control.

Someone called my dad

I’ve been receiving phone calls from a local number multiple times a day for months now. They would leave a vm saying they were going to file litigation. I know this is a scam so eventually I blocked the number and marked it as spam.

Last week a number called my step moms landline (my old address) and left a similar vm. She reported it as spam.

Today my dad got a call and answered it. He said originally it was an automated recording and he pressed 1 and was placed on hold. He started to feel like it was a scam and hung up. They called him back about 10 minutes later and he told them who he was and they said “we are looking for this person, are you her husband?” He replied with “no, I’m her father” and they said they could not discuss anything with him but they needed to speak with me. He said he definitely felt like it was a scam call but he passed it on to me anyway.

Wtf. I am so tired of these calls. Now they are harassing other people in my family. If any scam artist is in this group, get your life together, leave people alone and get a real job. Stop harassing people.

I had an interview with the HR director today and they said they would be finishing interviews this week but there would be another interview next week with the CFO. I’ve never heard of this, but really want the position. Is there anything I should do or expect?
