I’ve been making gourd banjos!
I’ve been making gourd banjos over the last year. It’s been a fun and rewarding.
Figured I’d show off my work! Here’s banjo #6, #7, and #8.
These three are currently ready for a new home.

Title says it all.
Would it be a bad move to purchase a 2021 Kia Forte with 13k miles for 10K? It’s had one owner and has never been abused. I know the owner.
It’s the turn key model which is notoriously easy to steal. My main concern is the horror stories I read about the IVT transmission issues. It would be out of warranty since I’m the second owner.
I know on paper it’s a good deal… I’m just looking for advice on longevity from previous forte owners!
Hello,
My current car is at the end of its life. 2011 accord that is completely rusted out and won’t pass an inspection.
I have an opportunity to purchase a 2020 Kia Forte off of my girlfriend’s mother for 10k. The car has only had one owner, total of 13k miles, and has never been abused.
Based on trade in or resale value it’s a good deal.
I recently purchased a house so money is a bit tight at the moment. I could purchase the car outright and not have a payment
I know that these cars have a high theft rate and insurance might be a bit high on them. I’m more so concerned about overall reliability. I was reading horror stories about the transmission in these vehicles… also, some people seem to love them and never have issues.
Should I buy or should I bite the bullet and partially finance something else? The deal seems hard to pass up.
