Sharing my case in case it happens to anyone else, or already has.

I activated the 7-day free trial of NFL Game Pass (now run by DAZN). The welcome email arrived on September 28 and said the trial "will move to the plan you chose, unless you cancel before the trial period ends" (translated from Spanish). No mention of price, term, or commitment.

Today, October 4, still within the trial, I was charged $700 MXN. When I went to cancel, I found out the plan is "Annual, paid monthly": even if you cancel, they keep charging $700/month until August 2027. That's $8,400 MXN total for a "Season Pass" for a season that ends in February.

What happened in support chat:

• The first agent confirmed that since I was still in the trial and hadn't paid anything, I could cancel with no charges.
• A minute later, they asked me to confirm only "turning off auto-renewal", which keeps the monthly charges.
• I was escalated to a specialist, who denied the refund because I "already used the service" (during the free trial) and sent me the terms in English, even though I'm in Mexico.

Heads up: if you start the trial, check which plan is selected. The default is the annual plan with a 12-month commitment, and cancelling doesn't stop the charges.

I have screenshots of everything and I'm disputing the charge with my bank. If that doesn't work, I'll go to PROFECO (Mexico's consumer protection agency). Has anyone dealt with this? Did a bank dispute or a consumer complaint work for you?

¿Han notado que nisiquiera los restaurantes buenos tienen aire acondicionado? Y los que tienen, dejan las puertas abiertas, o está claramente subdimensionados porque no alcanza a enfriar del todo. Incluso la mayoría de Starbucks que por cierto, sí tienen aire acondicionado, casi no se siente que enfríe.

Es momento de empezar a armar una lista de restaurantes donde genuinamente funcione bien el aire acondicionado. No es posible que otras ciudades más calurosas como Monterrey o Mérida sí tengan cultura de lugares con aire acondicionado y acá que es "mejor clima" no haya lugares para comer cómodos sin rostizarse en meses como abril y mayo.

Actualización: Al momento solo tenemos menciones de varias sucursales de Carl’s Jr, Farmacias Guadalajara (?) y si es el caso entonces agrego los Upper para tomarse un smoothie y comerse un cuernito doradito de jamón con queso.
