Hello everyone, I need some guidance regarding my friend’s admission in Jamia Millia Islamia.

He wants to pursue BA (Hons.) Korean Language / Japanese Language through CUET UG.

His details:

Category: General

CUET GAT score: 79/250 (around 61.8 percentile)

English + GAT score: around 129/500 (English score is low)

12th percentage: 65%+

As far as I know, for these language courses JMI considers GAT score, but I wanted to confirm

Does he have a realistic chance for BA(Hons) Korean or Japanese with 79 GAT??

Which one should he prefer between Korean and Japanese?

Does JMI conduct any separate entrance test/interview for these courses or is it only CUET merit?

What documents should he keep ready for admission/counselling?

Has the JMI application form started or is there any separate registration after CUET? What are the important dates?

He really wants to study in Delhi and this is his main option so any help from seniors/students would be appreciated.

I recently appeared for CUET UG and honestly, after checking my performance, I don't think my chances of getting into BHU or Allahabad University are very strong. Because of that, I have started focusing seriously on Lucknow University's BA LLB entrance exam, but I am quite confused about how exactly I should prepare during the remaining time.

If any senior or someone who has already cleared the LU BA LLB entrance could guide me, it would really help.

I have a few questions:

1. Which books should I follow for Legal Aptitude, General Knowledge, English, Reasoning, and Current Affairs?

2. Are there any specific topics that LU asks repeatedly or gives more weightage to?

3. Is solving previous year papers enough, or should I also practice mocks regularly?

4. How difficult is the LU BA LLB entrance compared to exams like SLAT or CUET?

5. For current affairs, how many months should I cover and from which source?

6. Has anyone here used LU Update's BA LLB course? If yes, is the ₹499 batch worth purchasing, or should I only buy their test series and prepare the rest on my own?

7. Approximately how many mock tests should I attempt before the exam?

At the moment I am willing to dedicate most of my time to LU preparation, so any detailed strategy, book recommendations, mistakes to avoid, or personal experiences would be greatly appreciated.
