Η ερώτηση: υπάρχει συγκεκριμένο είδος φλάντζας που πρέπει να χρησιμοποιώ για μπουκάλες/αέριο και άλλο για νερό;

Fairphone, please make your phone more GrapheneOS compatible.

To those who don't know, GrapheneOS is (possibly) the most secure and private smartphone OS. Currently, you are only able to flash GrapheneOS on Pixel phones. The developers say it's because Pixels are the only Android phones that meet the hardware requirements.

To Fairphone, I would very much appreciate any movement to completing these hardware and firmware support requirements (see here, here, and here). In my opinion, GrapheneOS's goal complements Fairphone's very well. To give the user full ownership of their device. Fairphone does this on a hardware level and GrapheneOS on a software level. I have been looking at Graphene's competitor /e/OS and it is not what I am looking for.

Denying Google my personal data and giving it to someone else is not reason enough for me to switch from Android. In addition to moving away from Google, I would like to at least know that the data that I give is limited, my choice, easily configurable, and the security of my device is top notch; in order for me to move away from Google or it's competitors. I understand that Fairphone has a deal with the Murena to put /e/OS on your phones. I am fine with that. This however is not a reason to not check mark the security requirements that Pixel phones manage to have. It is just good security sense to have these hardware requirements regardless if you plan on supporting GrapheneOS or not. And if what I just told you is not enough to at least give it some thought, GrapheneOS has ~400.000 installs (see here and here). Murena says /e/OS has ~50.000 installs (see here). So, there are more people who read the instructions on how to install GrapheneOS and successfully flashed it on their Pixel than there are /e/OS phones in their entirety. So, there is stronger interest in GrapheneOS than /e/OS.

Is the word 'hooligan' considered a slur or anti-Irish?

I was describing to a group of mine (mostly Irish) how my country has a hooligan problem in football. Then they asked what I meant, to which I explained 'you know, football clubs that are almost entirely men who gather to enjoy and talk football and see games, but in reality they go out looking for fights, burn and smash cars, and sometimes assault people even if their team wins (sometimes especially)'. One of them got very upset and left.

So, is it offensive to someone Irish to use the term 'hooligan'?

Is anyone else waiting for an update to the Fairbuds?

I have been using Pixel Buds Pro since their release. They are good. However, the sound quality is getting worse from usage (not bad, just worse: volume has dropped, quality as well), and I have no way to replace the batteries or check battery health.

I am hoping Fairphone will update the buds to compete with the Pixel Buds. I do not care if they have to charge 50 or 100 euros more. I do not want to buy 200 euro Samsung, Apple, or Google earphones if they have to be replaced every few years.
