Bruh…

Bruh…

Changing rear tire and the axle nut was a little sticky, using a breaker bar I gave it a tug and it didn’t feel right. Looked at the other side and the aluminum backing block has failed. WTF? Ordered new axle, block and nut but looks like I’m not riding for a while…

Any ideas on how to get the nut off now?

My first summit and it was Mt of the Holy Cross.

Definitely challenging for me. The moonlight hike up Half Moon Pass went great and climbing up to tree-line was no problem but I ran out of gas from there and it was a slog the rest of the way, at least until the final push. Climbing over the larger boulder field seemed a lot easier than the death march steps. Beautiful weather, couldn’t ask for better

+1 for sheepskin ass pad

Probably added 100 miles of range to my ass cheeks. Would recommend.

CMV: The deal being made by Trump with Iran can only be called a surrender.

The deal reportedly gives Iran $300 billion in frozen assets, opens the Straight of Hormuz to traffic and has some framework for halting or limiting Irans Nuclear Weapons program. The problem is that these conditions (aside from the unfreezing of $300 billion) were in place before Trump started this war or even before Trump tore up the previous deal Obama had secured. Basically, the U.S. gained absolutely nothing from this whole war. Iran has not only withstood an attempt to overthrow its leadership but has come out in a stronger position than it was in before the bombs fell. All the goalpost moving and war aim revisionist rhetoric cannot change the fact that Trump started a war to end the Islamic State of Iran and is now settling with that same government to establish a situation worse than before it started.

2007 SOHV EJ253 valve cover or carrier bearing oil leak?

My 2007 outback sport has an oil leak that looks like it could be valve cover or valve carrier. Oil drip under engine, no oil on top of engine. Head gasket look clean and we’re done 26k back. I’m wondering if there’s a way I can tell if it’s the carrier or the valve gasket without taking the timing belt back cover off. Should I just replace the valve cover gasket and see if it stops?

Edit: I changed the PCV valve about 1k before the oil leak showed up.
