Does anyone else have eczema on the body and seborrheic dermatitis on the face?

I'm wondering how uncommon it is.

Maybe the immune system got upset.

I think the trigger for eczema was eating bad things, whereas the trigger for sebderm was harsh skincare and maybe getting covid infection.

Urea cream advisable? Anyone has experience?

I read someone saying somewhere that she used urea cream on psoriasis and the lesions almost disappeared though still red. I know urea cream is used with some good success on eczema, but have not really heard of it being used on psoriasis.

So I wanted to ask if anyone else has used urea on psoriasis and if so, how it went...

How many strands of hair are you losing with this every day, approximately?

Today woke up and found 30 strands of hair on my bed from last night alone.
And then many more fall during the day and in the shower.

But 30 from just sleeping was quite a shocker

How common is chest/back sebderm?

Not sure this is just fungal acne, or just some kind of irritation, or sebderm.

Among those who (obviously) have face and/or scalp sebderm: do you also have some kind of sebderm on your chest or your back?

I wonder how uncommon or common it is. Since these areas do have sebaceous glands, perhaps it's not that uncommon.

Has anyone found a non-medicated shampoo or soap that works on scalp?

So far what's working best for me is a fungal safe facial foam cleanser, with a bit of coffee mixed in.

I'm interested in trying other solutions that worked for you.

I'm mostly interested only in non-medicated shampoos, though.

(Things like Nizoral and Head and Shoulder didn't work well for me)

I really need something to moisturize my face without irritation...

I tried MCT oil (C8), and I tried squalane.

But my face seems to get red when I apply them, even straight and with nothing else.

Help!!

Do you know anything else that is fungal safe, sebderm safe, that I can apply on my skin, something that is like these two other oils but gentler?

Where and how to begin?

How did you start training for this, and do you have tips for absolute beginners?

Especially curious about where to practice and what to pick up first.

Can you start learning without a community around you?

squalane vs mct c8 (or c8 c10)--anyone used both and has a verdict?

I have both squalane and MCT c8.

I tried using them both but they both seem to cause slight redness.

In addition, MCT C8 caused stinging sensation.

But maybe I can retry squalane.

If you tried both squalane and MCT, what is your opinion on which works best and which is gentler?

Does any one experience slight stinging and redness with MCT C8 or is this a passing phase?

So I find that MCT C8 leads to slight redness and also, I think, a stinging sensation. Not bad, but I'm worried about the redness part.

Anyone else experienced this?

Is this temporary or does it mean I have sensitivity?

Curious to hear from long-term Zoryve users about efficacy and side effects

Would like to know how long you've used it, which form, how well it's been working (or not), and what side effects you experienced. Thanks!

Family history or just you?

I mean obviously about HS.

HS is probably due to some genetic predispositions, environmental or other triggers, and life style but I wonder how much of each factor.

Do you have family members who also have HS?

Has anyone tried lindioil (Indigo oil extract) on plaques?

So I read several accounts and also some science that it can be good.

I got a bottle recently from a local store, and boy it smells bad!

It smells like peanut butter gone wrong.

Did anyone in this sub try lindioil recently and found it effective?

I did find one or two old posts saying it was effective on them!

Did ANYONE have or had scalp sebderm and managed to regrow hair substantially?

Hair loss with sebderm is so sad.

If you managed to achieve hair regrowth tell us how in details.

Frontal central part is where I have the symptoms and where I seem to keep getting hair falling out rapidly.

And no it's not male pattern boldness, it's just on the spot where I have sebderm.

What's your experience with squalane?

I just got a small bottle of pure squalane and applied it on the skin. It absorbs really well and does not make my skin itchy, which is already a big plus.

But after using it for two days I think my skin is getting red spots?

What's your experience been with squalane and do you use it plain on face like how I tried it, or do you mix it in somewhere?

Anyone else experienced redness?

What is your trigger food?

For me it seems wheat and possibly some fermented food, the kind that is generally considered very good for health. Also usually eating it once or even twice is fine, but then it suddenly goes downhill from there if I continue.

Have you tried zinc cream or spray on plaques? How was it?

And do you need to take care not use it with some meds like calcipotriene cream or just use them together?
