(Funny trope) Characters who have a badass entry before immediately being defeated
The Guy (Spy Kids 3): The legendary character who the main characters have been searching for the entire movie finally shows up before immediately triggering a booby trap and losing all 100 of his lives at once.
The Swordsman (Indiana Jones: Raiders of the Lost Ark): He tries to intimidate Indy with his sword skills. Unfortunately, he brought a sword to a gun fight.
Aaron Rodgers (Real Life): He was traded to the New York Jets and expected to turn their team around and had this badass entrance in his first game. Less than five minutes into the game he tore his Achilles and was out for the season.
