Felt that international GOIs needed more appreciation. Now, get bonked.
This is a problem I have been struggling with more and more. I create these shapes from a cube → M → center → then create a custom shape → then use F to create triangles or rectangles. This time, however, I have a problem cutting my object in half. Any help?
Chinese branch meme — just read their tales. They are extremely overpowered in a negative sense. There are some good ones, I won’t lie. There are, personally, “space pattern screamers” that were good. I liked that, but most of them, for some reason, are described as being better than others and so on. I see this in xianxia and other stories too, so maybe Chinese authors are overcompensating for something by using extreme power scaling.
Second one — it is just an imaginary situation. Got this idea from Memer601 with his meme about an anomaly that enslaves the Serpent’s Hand.
Third one — just read most of the K-class scenarios (except 5000 and similar ones). A good example is War on All Fronts.
GAW had created their own “Mr.”, such as Mr. Literal Serial Killer, and Wondertainment has even sent them a cease-and-desist order. They have not complied.
Three Portlands is an interesting place, but most famous, except things like their university, is the apartment complex. As Three Portlands is placed in something between where nothing is, the whole city tries to warp itself into nothingness, but mages made it so the city creates new matter so Three Portlands can exist. Thus, every year, month, and day, every building inside Three Portlands is coming toward its end; in the end, every building will be destroyed — it only needs time.
Yeah, just read what every GoI does and what the Serpent’s Hand does. I think MC&D would be very happy if every anomaly were free.
This one is more about my most loved, fully finished hubs — the Rats’ Nest hub. But hey, no spoilers, go read it. Just want to say that Dark created a secret society similar to MC&D but not like them.
This one — huh, get it? Get it? Mekhan → Mekh → Mech → huh? Mech GOD! Cool, isn’t it? (For somebody not familiar: Mekhan is the correct name of the Broken God.)
Yeah, this one is more about the GOC and their whole mission. So yeah, they have a good chunk dealing with killing aliens, so go read!
Yeah, this one… well, go read SCP-6000.
Oh yeah — the last one: the Phone Sheep — SCP-1498.
I will state this:
The Ichabod Campaign was not a genocide. Genocide is the destruction of a national, ethnic, racial, or religious group. Green Types were none of those. Anyone can become a Green Type at any time — even you and me.
The problem with Green Types is not just genetics. In the SCP universe, anyone can become a mage through certain occult practices. In the same way, almost anyone can become a Green Type, even without the necessary genetic predisposition.
It is more difficult without the right genes, but as shown with one of the MTF operatives, the correct mindset and training can allow someone to become a weak Green Type. The genes mainly act as amplifiers of power rather than as a strict requirement.
I am helping an author develop parts of a story—a fanfiction set in the BattleTech universe. In one of the chapters that I wrote, I created an accelerating kinetic system designed to propel an object to 0.01c (1% of the speed of light).
As shown in the images, I tried to create the visual composition myself. I later attempted to use AI to refine it, but the results were disappointing. The AI completely misunderstood the concept, adding unnecessary elements, removing important details, and fundamentally altering the original design.
I already have a clear vision for how this system should look, as demonstrated in the images. What I need is help refining and polishing the existing composition while preserving the core idea. The groundwork has already been done by hand, and I am looking for assistance in bringing it to a finished state rather than having it redesigned from scratch.
Any artist who contributes will be fully credited in the finished work.
If the concept interests you, or if you enjoy helping writers and worldbuilders turn their ideas into compelling visuals, I would be grateful for your help.
Okay, listen - the NEXT was the final machine of war. If I am not mistaken, only 27 of them fully destroyed all the armies of the world in less than a month during the National Dismantlement War.
In the last mission of Armored Core V, “Mechanized Memories,” we (technically just an MT pilot by all standards) are fighting a relic of the National Dismantlement War: a first-edition, mint-condition NEXT named N-WGIX/v.
The only reason we could win against this monstrosity of a machine is because J was lobotomized. Literally. If he had simply avoided using Assault Armor and played defensively instead, he would have completely decimated us. We could not break his shields, and eventually we would die from:
a) Kojima poisoning
b) being gradually torn apart by the sheer volume of fire from his weapons
Thus, the only canon interpretation that feels realistic to me is that we lost. Literally, we lost because J - previously a man who fought 1v1 against the very best pilots in Armored Core 4 - was a tactical genius and an elite pilot. Because of that, he would absolutely know how to fight both non-NEXT and NEXT targets. And don’t tell me about “cultivators,” “phantasma beasts,” and other stuff like that. That is the bare minimum of tactical knowledge.
