Wanted to get rid of Farigiraf so that I can freely use priority moves and so, I targeted that slot for the kill. That Mega Swampert was also at -1 Attack and I was OK with ignoring it.
But my opponent did something unexpected, which caught me by surprise, but it backfired on them/worked out fine for me in the end, especially with their last 2 mons being Archaludon and Pelipper.
We're getting closer to the return of legendary formats.
It begs the question - how will they handle the legendary/mythical mons' distribution in Champions.
We can get the regular mons via the ranch but are they gonna give out the legendary/mythical mons through it?
You can earn Championship Points via this online tournament. So, do remember to link your Pokemon Trainer Club account to your Nintendo Account before the competition so that you're eligible to receive the Championship Points.
The Global Challenge will also serve as qualifiers for the Nationals for players in Japan and South Korea.

Maintenance on Champions is still ongoing (until 6am UTC) but the game version 1.2.0 is available for update.

Contrary to the previous tweet by Nintendo, only 24 mons (not 26) will be added in Reg M-C.
And there will be 6 new Megas - the 3 previously announced Z Megas plus Mega Salamence, Mega Golisopod and Mega Baxcalibur. Still no word on Mega Golisopod/Baxcalibur's ability yet.
Besides the 5 confirmed mons, anyone want to guess the other 21 mons to be added?
Aura Guard will mostly be seen vs physical moves but it could come in handy vs niche special contact moves such as Grass Knot, Draining Kiss, Infestation and in the future, Electro Drift.

Almost 2 months after its release, Dedenne EX has picked up a huge win!
A player named 'golfermt' won the big tournament and I don't think the sub rules would allow me to mention the tournament's name but it's the weekly large tournament ran by a well known Pocket content creator. So, IYKYK.

Looks like B4a will indeed be a Team Rocket themed set. The datamined info from 2 weeks ago hinted at that.

So, the Pocket panel will take place on Aug 28 at 5-6pm PDT (which is 12am UTC on Aug 29) and we will get a preview of what's to come in the game (new features, updates, cards etc).

The set has introduced several new decks into the meta, notably Vespiquen EX, Mega Rayquaza (w/ Dragonair + Gouging Fire/Drampa), Hoopa EX variants, Mega Sharpedo, Heliolisk etc.
Do note/remember that, announced in the recent big update, you will no longer lose points for losing ranked matches in Poke Ball, Great Ball and Ultra Ball tiers (no changes to Master Ball tier). You can only gain points (by winning of course). So, you can freely experiment, play meme decks or whatever to get up to Master Ball and that 95 pack hourglasses reward.
