I have these 5 week old bobwhite quail. This one started doing this sometime between this morning and now. Do you think it’s just an injury somehow? She walks fine when the leg is under her. I’m worried since it’s been nuclear hot here in northeast Ohio (we are on day 4). I have a fan outside the coop blowing in as well as multiple flat trays of cool water. I went in to replace the trays with fresh water this afternoon and saw it doing this.

Do we accidentally have a bobwhite quail mixed in with the coturnix? She was found separately but they’ve been housed together for months and they get along fine.
