Living in wheelock gives your kids a free ride to Dartmouth College.

I had always heard people say this and today I looked it up and it appears true.

The Sons of Wheelock scholarship at Dartmouth College provides full tuition to any child from the town of Wheelock, Vermont, who is admitted to the college.  The town of Wheelock was named after Eleazar Wheelock, the founder of Dartmouth College, and the scholarship originated in the 1830s.  Due to the small population of the town, only nine students have historically taken advantage of this full-ride opportunity.

Just returned from honeymoon!

Not enough positive news is posted here so I am going to share.

I have been with my wife for 14 years, 12 of them we were engaged. We have built such a life for each other. We are not rich or anything, but I feel like I have a new lease on life.

As soon as we decided to do it I felt our love grow stronger. The day of the wedding was one of the best days of my life. I am still in awe of us for finally doing it.

Now that the honeymoon is over, I am very excited to start my next chapter in life. Homeownship.

The diagnosis really made me want to marry her, no more waiting.

Have you done a medical trial for MS? What was it, what was your experience? Did it help?

I am doing a trial studying depression with people who have MS. They use a tcds machine (transcranial direct current stimulation) to apply electricity to my brain for 30 min a day.

My cravings for drugs and my depression have been greatly reduced. I stopped having suicidal thoughts.

After the trial they are going to let me keep getting treatments out of pocket. It has changed my life. I am hoping the effects stick around.

Did this change anyone else's life?

I started a clinical trial about a month and a half ago. Today is my 26th session. I have crazy depression, MS, addiction issues and a list of other things that don't apply to this conversation.

I stopped all opioid cravings by session 18. I missed a whole days worth of meds because I forgot about them. I don't know if you understand how addiction works, but not having those cravings is worth whatever.

The depression was significantly reduced within a week. It is just gone. I realized it slowly but I think it just took my brain time to catch up and realize that something was different. Same with the addiction.

I see that I can't buy this exact device a 1c1 mini-ct. The company that is doing the trials says I may qualify for a new trial when this is over, but if not I can continue treatment out of pocket. To me, this is worth working an extra day a week.

What do you all think and what devices did you use?

Machais Maine Honeymoon

The soon to be wife and I are going to spend 10 nights in Machais Maine. Can anyone point out locations in a 50 mile radius of Machais that will let take home some stones.

The Airbnb lady said she would have a list for us, but I thought maybe you all could help. Please and thank you. Preferably staying in the US
