Don’t ask how I did it, I don’t know lol. stepped away from my desk for a bit and truly don’t know what happened . I’ve not ventured into soldering anything in my short stint in customizing all my consoles— but I’m assuming that’s all I’d need to do here. Am I correct in assuming that? Any thoughts welcome, thanks yall.

First time I’ve ever worked on a joycon, I’ll admit. I’ve done several switch lites and my steam deck with little to no issue. But I’ve probably been sitting here for about an hour trying to get this back part of the joycon to lay flat and clip in to no avail. I’ve looked at all the screws at least that are easily available, I’ve messed with different positions of the “release” tab / metal bar… I’m stumped. Does this warrant a complete tear down and checking other screws? Any advice is welcome. This one’s really testing me. Sorry this video isn’t super great, let me know if you have any questions.
