Is this amber? (I’m really hoping so! - if not, still looks cool). Found in Mundesley, Norfolk, UK

Any ideas? Has cool little indents that are red / orange / yellow in colour. Found at the beach in Norfolk, UK

Found in river Aude, south of France. Was looking for fossils and a kid and his dad found this in the river, they weren’t fussed so they gave it to me. Is this a bone? Or just a big piece of wood? It’s fairly heavy but is a little soft on the surface. Included a partially dry pic at the end. Thanks!
