Higher Quality Strap Recommendations
Hi there! Upon putting my BCPD on the OEM tapered black leather strap this came with, it made me realize a higher quality strap can definitely be worth it. The strap in my attached photo is a cheapie from Amazon, but I like the walnut color to pair with Allen Edmonds dress shoes I wear for work. Where would be best the best options to look for a similar higher quality strap in this general color scheme? Thanks!

Hey all. So I purchased an XVI Spitfire a few weeks ago, but unfortunately the bracelet is about one link short of being a perfect fit. I have not had much luck outside of one or two listings on eBay of the link I’m looking for, but unfortunately they are going for $250+ for one link! I guess being it’s not in production anymore the price is jacked up. I even scoured this sub of old XVI spitfire posters and asked if they’d help a brother out, but to no avail. I’m sandwiched between NYC and Philly, so was wondering if I’d just have better going into one of the boutiques and see if they have any in stock or have to order. What are your thoughts? Should I even bother going into a boutique? Or just play the long game and wait for a better priced listing. Thanks!
