You guys realize a big part of the reason Walt got away with as much as he did for so long, is because Albuquerque is rife with crime, right?

I grew up in Albuquerque. Place has always had crime. In 2008, when the show starts, Albuquerque was 8th in the country for violent crime.

I got mugged for a pizza, walking home from work once. My girlfriend had a day off, because there was a cartel beheading in front of her work. Its normalized there(I moved away)

Gaius Baltar & Misogyny

Ive seen severaI posts/comments claiming that Dr Baltar was Misogynistic. I disagree with the misogyny claim.

Sex in the 12 colonies was shown to be far less puritanical the modern-day western culture. If anything, on a cultural level (that we are shown), women are more or less on an even playing field.

He slept around, but based on what we saw, it wasnt verboten by any means. He never disrespected women for being women; It was more arrogance and generalized disrespect towards ALL people.

What do you view as misogyny from Gaius?

Gus was way too cautious in every other aspect, to meet with street level dealers.

Something about Gus, being the Top of his organization, meeting with street-level dealers doesn't sit right with me.

We see in other interactions that Mike, Tyrus, and Victor handled a lot of affairs and acted as insulation from the bottom.

Is this inconsistent writing, or was there a lapse in judgement with Gus? Wouldn't it be an issue if the street level guys get arrested? It would be a quick roll over on gus, seeing as they knew identity.
