Real gone has Dick’s Picks 29 back in stock.
Heads up for the physical media collectors. Killer shows here - and I believe the only 6 disc set they ever did for Dick’s. 5/19/77 and 5/21/77

Solid first set of standards. Super funky Eyes>a debut Slipknot jam> China Doll. How has this one evaded a Dave’s/Dick’s Picks release?
I’m playing a flac copy of Dick’s Picks 24 and not that copy of Steal Your Face.
Jerry’s vocals optimal for the high notes. Phil striking big chord Phil bombs… it’s like the space they left was just as weighty as what they played. 3/25/73 and 11/30/73 on the recent play cycles… these are good Dews.
Just brought home from the framer today.
I can’t get enough of learning about these guys though. My nightly routine has recently consisted of throwing a live show on my office/loft stereo and knocking out 3-4 chapters in my latest second hand book… super chill way to wind down. Current read is ‘Loud and Clear’ and the accompanying music selection is Road Trips Vol. 1 No. 2 - October ‘77.
Now I’m drinkin’ Tit-O’s and water and listening to a 20 minute YEM jam. Cheers fuckers!
Which one should I start with?
The Rhino High Fidelity remaster of Workingman’s Dead showed up today - I’m gonna do a little A/B with my 1973 Terre Haute pressing.
On initial impression it’s kind of bright, but from what I understand that’ll roll off with some break in and the soundstage should open up nicely. Noticing a lot of detail in the vocals and percussion I wasn’t getting with the Blue. Love my Blue, by the way - it’s going to my office rig to replace the 2M red I have there now.
