do all babies eventually start moving around in their sleep?

my guy is 6.5 months and loves to rotate around during tummy time, roll, sit, stand supported - you can tell he's desperate to start crawling. but when he sleeps, on the rare-ish occasions i'm able to get a bit of distance from him in bed (floor bed, just us, safe setup so i feel ok relaxing c curl at this point), he is STILL. absolutely perfectly still, if he stirs a bit he might stretch out but never moves more than that. just curious if this is common for this age before more action starts or if that might be his long term sleep style?

i'm a FTM to a 6 month old boy. my entire adult life i've been extremely career oriented but we strongly want one parent to be home, and bc we relocated for my husband's career (academia so very difficult to change), it only made sense for it to be me. i know i have it great with a supportive partner and a few hours of childcare a few days a week but so far i'm really feeling this isn't for me. i want to enjoy my time with my baby but it feels like the current setup is preventing me from enjoying him. we have a potential plan to switch places and my husband is into the idea, but i'm worried we might be rushing it as everything is still so intense and new. for context also baby is EBF and cosleeps with me, i do everything at night. he isn't a super hard baby in terms of colic or anything like that but he never had a moment of potato - has had to be held and entertained and actively soothed basically every single second of his whole sweet lil life.

so my question is, if i'm not loving it now, is it crazy to make a decision based on my experience so far? will i have a better sense of how i actually feel staying home at some other later date? thanks in advance for all your advice!
