Managed to snag the NBC collab bag, but...

I realized there's no great place to clip a pocketbac holder or coin purse!

I don't usually buy the bags from work, but am I tripping that most of our bags have had a little fabric loop or a D-ring somewhere to clip a sani holder?

The only possible spot for one on this bag is the little ring connecting the zipper pull and zipper. I clipped a pocketbac holder to that and went out for less than a couple hours today, and the ring already has a small gap that it didn't have before! Easy to fix, but I don't want to break the zipper pull eventually and possibly lose a holder!

Anyway, all this to ask if anyone has figured out a cute way to modify a bag to clip on a pocketbac holder? I was going to tie a ribbon to the strap but that feels like a bad idea lol... I use the pocketbacs religiously and love being able to have them on my bags!

Grateful for the expert advice, I'm a pro at candles and register, but am drawing a blank on this one😂

Reminder that future releases are considered confidential information and posting it as an employee puts your employment and the sub as a whole at risk.

Guys pls. I'm so tired. 🥲 Read the rules if you haven't yet💗

We want your input!

Hi all! We've been considering making user flairs mandatory in the sub, but we wanted to see how you all feel about it!

Why?

  1. it makes moderation easier for us once it's implemented. It will be easier to spot the seemingly quickly growing number of folks that are coming in from the non-employee sub that are basically just here to stir shit (for lack of a better term, sorry!) and get mad at everything as well as bots or other users that are here to spam, scam, etc.

(To be clear, this does not apply to customers that come to the sub, follow the rules like everyone else, and participate with respect. We have no interest in villainizing customers who want to participate in general, we just don't want the attitude of the non-employee sub- you know the one- to infiltrate our little happy place here!)

  1. it will make the advice-seeking part of the sub easier and more efficient for all users to navigate and participate in as it won't be necessary to share role or experience info with every comment/ post to aid in credibility.

  2. it will hopefully aid in effective and respectful communication between sub members because we'll already know the perspective that others are sharing from!

The way that this would be implemented if a majority of the sub likes the concept is that users will have two weeks update their user flair. A user flair guide has been posted to the sub highlights to make sure everyone knows how to change theirs! After those two weeks, for anyone who has yet to set a user flair, mods will (probably slowly as we work through everyone) set their user flair to a default of "customer," which will be an easy fix if it isn't accurate.

Please vote to let us know what you think of this idea, and feel free to share any additional thoughts about it, its details (such as the timeline), or even just your thoughts on the user flairs in general!

Thank you so much for reading and participating in our sub!

How to set your user flair!

Hi all! We've noticed that less and less sub members seem to be utilizing user flairs, and feel that it not only helps aid in respectful and effective communication among different types of users, but also helps with the advice side of our sub so that we can tell levels of expertise and experience among employees! It's an easy process, as highlighted by the screenshots above!

You just go to the sub home page, click the three dots in the top right corner, and then "change user flair," then it's just selecting your flair and toggling the switch at the bottom to "show my user flair in this community."

As usual, modmail is always open for any questions or assistance!

Neuropsychologist vs Psychologist?

Hello brain pain pals!

So I've come to the realization after losing a loved one at the end of this year that I could benefit from getting a psychologist and starting therapy. While researching therapists to ask for a referral to, I found a couple of neuropsychologists, so I'm wondering if anyone has seen one in relation to their iih!

I seem to struggle more and more with brain fog/ memory decline, and have gotten additional diagnoses within the last year of fibromyalgia, hEDS, and am in process of figuring out what autoimmune condition(s) I may have (possible Lupus, Rheumatoid Arthritis, etc.) so I think it would be good to have someone that works with chronically ill folks which seems fitting for a neuropsych.

But, I also really need guidance on dealing with grief and just general life stuff, so I'd love to hear about anyone's experiences with a neuropsychologist or even other psychiatry specialties that have helped folks!

Do neuropsychs exclusively focus on the neurological condition (in my case iih ofc) and how it impacts cognitive function, or would they also do talk therapy and be willing to focus on other facets of mental health? I got mixed results when trying to research this myself!

Anyway, sorry that was longer than I wanted it to be, but I appreciate any experiences yall have to share or advice or anything like that! Tysm in advance and I hope you're all doing well or at least okay♥️
