Hypothetically… how would y’all feel about a Black Jean Grey?

Okay this is PURELY hypothetical, so please don’t attack me 😭
I was thinking about how the MCU has changed certain characters before, either in personality, appearance, backstory, or casting choices, and it made me wonder:
How would y’all honestly feel if Marvel Studios ever did a race-swapped version of Jean Grey?
And before people jump me — I honestly doubt they ever would. I’m not saying they SHOULD or predicting it. I’m literally just curious about people’s thoughts from an adaptation standpoint.
Would fans mostly care about:
comic accuracy?
the acting/performance?
whether the Phoenix storyline is adapted well?
or would Jean be one of those characters people feel should stay exactly the same visually?
I also think it’s interesting because some characters get heavily changed in adaptations and audiences don’t care, while others become super controversial immediately.
Curious what y’all think because I feel like the reactions would be VERY divided 😭

If Zendaya wasn’t cast as MJ, who would you have liked her to play in the MCU?

I was randomly thinking about this earlier 😭
If Zendaya never got cast as MJ in the MCU, who do y’all think she would’ve been PERFECT for instead?
Not even necessarily who LOOKS the most comic accurate — I mean what role actually fits her vibe, acting style, screen presence, etc.
I honestly feel like she could’ve pulled off a surprising amount of Marvel characters depending on the direction
Curious what everybody else thinks though because I feel like there are some unexpected answers people could come up with 👀
Who would y’all cast her as?

How do we feel about the MCU’s Billy Maximoff

It’s been some time since we’ve seen Billy Maximoff in the MCU, but I’m curious how everyone feels about the character.
Personally, I actually really like him. I think they did a good job making him feel emotionally layered while still keeping that awkward/charming energy that makes him likable. I also think there’s a LOT of potential with him moving forward.
And honestly… I kinda want to see him become one of the bigger younger characters in the MCU over time instead of just being sidelined after one project.
I’ve seen mixed opinions though, especially from comic fans, so I’m curious:
Do y’all like this version of Billy?
Do you think the MCU adapted him well?
What do you want to see next for him?
And how powerful do you think they’ll make him eventually?
I personally just want to see more of him 😭

My insane Sadie Sink theory for Spider-Man: Brand New Day

Okay hear me out... I genuinely think Sadie Sink is playing Jean Grey in Spider-Man: Brand New Day... BUT if she isn't, I actually have another theory that could be kinda insane.
Stay with me for a second
I really don't think she's playing one of the random C-list characters people keep throwing around like Shathra or Spider-Queen. No offense to those theories, but I just can't see Marvel Studios and Sony Pictures letting the internet spiral THIS hard with Jean Grey speculation... just for the reveal to be somebody the general audience barely knows.
Like yes, the mystery is creating conversation, but I don't think they'd intentionally build up hype only for most people to go "wait who??"
UNLESS...
What if she's actually playing Rogue?
Okay okay, I KNOW that sounds like a reach. But imagine this:
What if Rogue appears in the movie before the full X-Men reboot happens, and during the movie she absorbs Jean Grey's powers somehow? Maybe even from the Fox universe Jean that we never fully see onscreen.
That could explain why Sadie's character might end up displaying powers associated with Jean WITHOUT actually being Jean yet.
And before anyone says it - yes, I saw the leaked set photos and she doesn't have the white streak. But honestly? If those leaks with Punisher are real, I could weirdly see that being Rogue. Especially if this version is being introduced differently before the MCU fully resets/reboots the X-Men.
Then later, after the "soft reboot," Marvel could introduce the actual Jean Grey separately in the X-Men films.
I don't know, maybe I'm completely insane but what
would y'all think about Rogue having Jean's powers temporarily in the MCU?
Would that be interesting or would fans hate it?

Honestly if they did do this, I feel like it would truly shock people and be a good little twist similar to that Ralph twist from Wandavision
