Extracurriculars for Children

As a mom with young children I’m curious what other traditional Catholic parents allow and encourage their children to spend their time doing outside of learning and growing in the faith. Sports, some form of dance, theatre, painting, musical instruments, etc?
If you were raised in the faith, what did your parents encourage?

Diagnosed with Rectocele

Hi everyone. I’m 24 with two young kids and was just diagnosed with a rectocele by my OB and have been referred to a Urogyn. Unsure of the stage but it’s pretty obvious (I would guess stage 3 based on reading and photos) and I’m having all the accompanying problems such as bathroom issues. For those of you with rectocele prolapse, did you also have accompanying prolapses? My OB said it’s possible if they were to move my rectocele prolapse out of the way then my cervix/uterus and bladder would also show apparent signs of prolapse. I guess I’m just trying to prepare myself mentally for the Urogyn appointment. I am also believed to have adenomyosis so unsure if that’s related and causing problems due to a bulky uterus.
Any advice and experiences appreciated, especially if you went on to have pregnancies after diagnosis.

Pelvic Pressure and Prolapse

Hi all, long time lurker first time poster lol. I got “diagnosed” with adenomyosis almost two years ago along with suspected endo. Put in air quotes because I was told the only sure way to know is a hysterectomy. I’ve had two babies and no issues or complications until now. I’m 5 months postpartum and I’ve had pelvic heaviness and frequent urges to urinate along with what I believe to be pelvic organ prolapse. I guess I’m just looking to hear from some women with similar experiences and symptoms. What guidance were you given by your doctor? I’m calling my OBGYN first thing in the morning to be seen. TIA!
