Why wasn’t Elton interviewed in And So It Goes?

They make a big deal about how Elton’s comments in the Rolling Stone interview affected Billy leading him to commit to sobriety. Presumably he wasn’t available at the time but wouldn’t it have made sense to get Elton’s perspective on the situation and on them being contemporaries in general?

What if Klaus joined on bass?

Watching the Search for the Lost Bass where they interview Klaus Voormann and he says in passing he offered to join the Beatles on bass, in place of Stuart Sutcliffe, but Paul had just got his Hofner instead.

Obviously Klaus did alright for himself and would play bass with each of the Beatles later on but it’s an interesting to wonder what if it were John Paul George Klaus and Ringo/Pete?

Paul writes solo now but he’s previously collaborated with Denny Laine, Eric Stewart (from 10cc) and Elvis Costello. Who else would you liked to have seen Paul co-write with?

Personally I’d say Neil Finn
