Hey guys i need a little more help understanding how to use the CAGED scale shapes when embellishing chords.

For example if i play a C major using the E shape but i want to then move to G major using the E shape and i embellish of that G major from the notes of the E shape am i not using notes from the scale of G major?

Say im in the key of C major and i want to play the 3 chord (E minor) using any of the CAGED shapes. If i want to embellish the chord am i taking notes directly from the scale shapes making up the chord?

For anyone that has tried to swap out the HSS for single coils how was your experience and do you recommend?

About 2 months into playing without ANY music theory practice. I decided i want to get into it now to get over it and if anyone had any tips id really appreciate it

Not really a Pacifica specific question but evb has been super helpful in here so

Having trouble with getting the intonation down…
As a beginner the notes i want to play are inconsistent and i cant tell if the strings intonation needs to be adjusted or not because of this (since my notes arent always consistently in tune). If anyone knows how to get around this plz help lol

In ur personal experiences, drop some of the best mods you have done to your 112v or any model for that matter

Was messing around with pickup height on my 112v, was wondering if anyone had a good idea as to what the “default” height would be for reference
