Can we please bring back Wonder Pets? I never grew up with them, but my almost 4 year old is into it right now, and the characters would make the BEST Tonie set! We NEED a Wonder Pets Tonie Set, please!!!
Any other old school characters you wish could exist as Tonies?
I am so upset. My 13 month old twin boys are both screaming at the moment because they are knee deep in HFMD. We were at my in-laws on Father’s Day, and I was already annoyed because I was on my second cycle since pregnancy (a ME problem), but we also had my 3 yr old, and the twins, BIL’s 3yr old twins and their 4 month old, and two other older kids, plus the adults.
I’m irritated because that day, I was all over the floor/mat with my crawling/ cruising babies, and two rambunctious 3year old boys running all around them with their toys. I got fed up and asked my husband to have my FIL bring out the play yard we left at their house when they watched them for one night two months ago. FIL says it’s in the attic. Some time goes by, and I’m still annoyed from the lack of help I’m getting from the in laws, and having to control my boys every 3 seconds, so I tell my husband to have FIL get it down from the attic now.
HE. GAVE. IT. AWAY.
FIL gave away our perfectly good play yard we wanted back, ESP at such a crucial time, like when TWINS ARE CRAWLING.
I was already pissed off about that, and had husband handle it and his dad apologized to my husband and gave him money. Yes I forgive him, but truthfully, I’m struggling to forgive the aftermath.
All of my children got HFMD, and I’m 99% sure it was from there. The timeline adds up, everyone’s bare feet was all over the same floor/mat my boys were crawling on. First they all got high fevers 103-104 for two days, then the blisters came. And I’m so upset, with the little help I already had with them, that life got harder.
I honestly believe it could have been avoided if the boys had their own space (the play yard) without everyone playing around them and walking all over them.
To top it off, I also got the blisters in the back of MY throat.
I know it will pass, but right now, every time I do a diaper change and see their thighs/legs covered in blisters, every time they scream and refuse a bottle, and every time my throat feels like I’m swallowing daggers, I just get so angry.
