my Internet ah home is getting to slow for all the Backups - so I‘m looking for the cheapest 4-bay-Nas coLocation in Europe. I don‘t need all the stuff like emergency energy and so on - but I would be happy if they don’t lost the hardware.
Anybody having Tipps?

ein Freund von mir hat mit Frau und Kind eine drei-Mann/Frau-Firma und ich (mache beruflich IT - aber ca. um den Faktor 200 größer) und schaue hin und wieder unentgeltlich nach seiner IT.
Im Grunde sind es fünf Windows-PCs (einer als Client+Server), Backups mittels Veeam auf USB-Festplatten und Officekauflizenzen, Mail und Webseite bei einem Freemailer und Netzwerk (WLAN)+Telefonie über ein Consumerproduct von der Telekom - damit hat es sich mehr oder weniger.
Wir wollten das ganze zumindest etwas optimieren - insbesondere ist die Backuplösung mittels USB-Festplatten problembehaftet. Nur was nimmt man da? Ich tendiere in Richtung Veeam+ Cloud+Nas+Tape/USB-Festplatte, Office365+Cloud - bin aber nicht überzeugt dass das passt. Das ganze wird aufs Jahr gerechnet ein größerer Kostenfaktor und die ganzen Gimmicks wie zentrale Userverwaltung, individuelle Nutzerrechte, Updateverwaltung.... braucht es es eigentlich nicht. Außerdem möchte nicht unbedingt wochenlang da Zeit investieren. Wie würdet Ihr das das angehen und was braucht man wirklich als Kleinunternehmen?

question for the calendar workflow: there is on the top right a plus button for adding appointments. And there is the possibility to add handwritten elements.
But - how can I add handwritten elements which results in a appointment like the plus button?
Is it possible to remove the loop if I open the screws with a very small screw driver? If yes - which screwdriver do I need?
I wanted to use my CalDAV calendars and task lists with the native Supernote apps without using google or outlook as a in-the-middle-bridge. Since this is not supported by default, I built my own sync app with the help of AI. Unfornately the AI was completely overwhelmed by the project. I had to review, test, and approve almost every detail one by one before the app worked properly.
The app connects a CalDAV account to the native Supernote Calendar and To-Do apps. Events and tasks appear in the familiar Supernote interface.
Recurring events are shown on the Supernote. They are read-only there and must be changed on the CalDAV server due limitations and lack of native support.

The outdoor temperature comes from a Bluetooth LE sensor. I could not find an affordable, certified and suitable outdoor sensor, so I use an indoor sensor installed in a weather-protected location.
Partial refreshes make the touchscreen respond quickly for an E-Ink display. The display must not perform a black-and-white refresh because that bothers me.
I could not use the official Sonos API. Its authentication requires a local web browser, which I could not run on this hardware. I had to find another solution for that.
The biggest challenge is battery life. The E-Ink display itself uses almost no power while showing a static image, but the device still has to wake regularly to update the visible clock. Calendar, weather and sensor data must also be refreshed without keeping the device awake unnecessarily.
The project was developed with AI assistance. However, the AI was completely overwhelmed by independently developing the entire system. It had to be guided through virtually every detail, and the results had to be checked repeatedly on the real hardware.
It is a DIY project, but it is now part of my daily routine as a calendar, weather display, FRITZ! Smart Home control center and Sonos controller.

I‘m wondering if a sleeve is making more thens - who did you handle this with your devices?

ich habe einen Türkontaktsensor (Telekom) und eine Avm schaltsteckdose. Beides wird in der Feitzbox fehlerfrei erkannt (laut statistician!).
Was muss ich machen dass die Steckdose bei Tür auf -> aus schaltet?

ich habe ein Cube nuroad Race und mir tut nach 40 km der Arsch weh. Trotz gepolsterter Hose.... Größenmässig scheint alles zu passen - hat jemand eine Idee wie man rausbekommt was das Problem ist?
