I made a "code-reading" game, for free

Hi there! 👋

As I like programming games and I like to play on phone too, I thought of a concept where, instead of writing code, you play the role of the program and execute the instructions to paint the output.

I chose the C programming language because I feel it's the easiest language for everyone to read: its syntax is well known and I was able to limit the arithmetic operations to integers, to facilitate mental calculation.

The game is completely free, there is no account, no ads, no cookies.
It plays just as well on a phone as on a computer, and it works offline.

Chess for people who freeze on a blank board: 3 moves a turn, find the best one!

Game Title: Limpid Chess

Platform: Android + Web (plays in the browser, no install)

Playable Link (Android): https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=game.limpidchess

Playable Link (Web): https://limpidchess.com/play

Description: Every turn, Limpid Chess draws exactly 3 moves on the board as plain arrows. One is the best move, one is "not bad", one is a blunder. They look identical, so you have to read the position and choose. The second you pick, it reveals: green best, blue OK, red blunder, plus what the strongest move was and why. Mistakes are the lesson here, never the punishment.
That is the whole game. No blank board of thirty legal moves to freeze over, no clock, no shame in losing. A beginner plays a real game in seconds; if you already play, it is a fast "spot the best move" drill against a Stockfish opponent that scales up as you climb the roster.
Also in there: a rising puzzle streak from the Lichess database, a move-by-move review of every game, and Face to Face local two-player. Offline, no ads, no account, no tracking, 13 languages, open source (GPL-3.0), made with Godot 4 and Stockfish: https://github.com/Hatscat/limpidchess

Free to Play Status: Free to play + an optional "Premium" one time purchase.
Free is 3 games and 1 puzzle run a day (5 games on day one). Premium is one time, not a subscription: unlimited games and puzzles, every bot, and Face to Face. No ads either way.

Involvement: Solo dev. I wrote the code, designed the UI and the custom 2D board renderer, and built the website and the store listing. The chess engine is Stockfish, the icons are OpenMoji and the pieces are JohnPablok's Cburnett set, all credited in-app.

Looking for testers for my chess game, I'll test yours back (14 days)

Hi everyone!

I am running the 14-day closed test for my Android game, Limpid Chess, and looking for fellow testers. I will gladly test your app back right away for the full 14 days. I am active and reliable, and I will keep your app installed the whole time.

Limpid Chess is a calm chess game for beginners, the kind of player who freezes every turn. Instead of a blank board of 30 legal moves, each turn it surfaces just three: the best move, a "not bad" move, and a blunder. You pick one and learn instantly whether you found the best one. No clocks, no ads, no accounts, fully offline.

Here is how to join (the 3 steps Google requires):

  1. Join my Google Group first (this authorizes your test access):

https://groups.google.com/g/limpid-chess-testers
