AITA for getting angry at my mom’s best friend’s son after he barged into my room?

My mom and his mom have been best friends for years, so our families are really close. Unfortunately, he and I have never gotten along.

He’s 21 and I’m 16, and every time we’re around each other we end up arguing over something stupid.

Today he came into my room without saying anything and immediately started teasing me about being younger than him. I got annoyed and told him that if he was coming into my room, he could at least say hello instead of acting like he owned the place.

He kept teasing me, I snapped back, and eventually my older brother had to come in and stop us because we were getting too loud.

My family thinks we were both being childish, but I feel like he started it by coming into my room and talking down to me.

AITA for getting angry and arguing with him instead of just ignoring him?

AITA for teasing a guy after he gave my younger sister a flower?

Okay, this might sound really stupid, but my family and I are still arguing about it, so I genuinely want some outside opinions.

There’s this guy from our neighborhood who’s pretty close with everyone. A little while ago, he gave my younger sister a flower. She obviously thought it was a big deal, because she likes him, and honestly… we all kind of suspected he liked her too.

When we asked him about it, though, he immediately said it wasn’t romantic at all. He said he just gave her the flower because she likes flowers.

Nobody really bought that explanation 😂

We started teasing him about it, and things kind of got out of hand. My family jokingly decided that if he was so determined that it was a sibling thing, then he could officially become her “brother.”

Someone even made a ridiculous little paper for him to sign saying he’d look after her and bring her a plant, bangles, and snacks on Eid.

And the funniest part? He actually signed it.

Everyone was laughing, but afterward I started feeling a little bad because he looked genuinely embarrassed. He later admitted that he had actually hoped things might become romantic, so I can understand why he wasn't exactly thrilled about suddenly being declared her brother.

My family thinks it was harmless teasing and that he brought it on himself by denying that he liked her.

I’m not so sure anymore.

AITA for going along with the joke and embarrassing him?
