29M - Advice and discussion please

Hey long time lurker first time poster! I would love it if anyone is keen to share their thoughts ideas and feedback with me.

- I am with AUSsuper, I have just moved it all into a high growth account after being in balanced. Can I have some thoughts around this? What is the difference in having it split across int/aus shares are there additional fees?

- I am on approx 140k annually and 12% super is paid by employer, I have never made any additional super contributions.

- I have been off work for 6 months, I plan to put approx 7k in my super to cover this period. What would be the best way to do this? I have seen there are ways to make this tax deductible?

- I have approx 150k in savings, I have it sitting in my offset account currently on a small mortgage. EFT and investing confuses me - what could I do with 10k for example as a starting point, then continue to add to each pay etc.

In a perfect world I would love to slow down by 50, would have my home loan paid off and bridge that gap from 50-60y/o with income either part time work, from investment and or savings. Would love to hear some thoughts on how to achieve this freedom!

Thanks

Westpac are crap

Westpac velocity Altitude black

145k salary
300k mortgage
12k annual additional income
6k existing cc limit NAB
85k saved
Very good credit rating
Monthly outgoings less than 35% of income

On normal figures pre-approved instantly then went to processing I called as it was the most unfriendly application process and they reviewed my application with me. Was told all good just email one more payslip as soon as I got off the phone auto rejection email. Spoke again at lengths to offshore staff then started speaking about my salary package (changing employers so maximised this over the last few pays) and had to try and explain the way it works and again declined.

Spoke to another rep it seems they are minusing the salary package as not income, despite my bank statements showing the direct credit into my account sequential with employer pay.

Sent an online inquiry as the only thing I was being told was due to “serviceability” they called me, I called back was told they would call me back and never did.

What a waste of a credit enquiry with such horrible earn rates despite the bonus points sorry had to rant, I’m not even sure it’s worth having them reassess manually with a onshore rep - for context when I went in branch to verify ID to even apply, they were trying to refinance me and sign me up to a CC in store based off figures and expenses I gave them.

Psychologist recommendations.

Hey All,

I have an approved claim for MH injury, have been seeing a psych online billed to work cover. Great at the start but do not feel like treatment is aligned and there isn’t enough time being spent on the experiences that led to my injury and how they translate into barriers to RTW.

Wanting to know if anyone has any recommendations of an individual or clinic that deals with work cover clients who have been exposed to trauma in the work place. Also prefer a no gap provider.

Thanks!!
