Stranger broke my phone

My wife and I are were taking the red line from north springs to the airport yesterday and between the Lindbergh and arts centers I pulled out my phone to take photo of the Buckhead skyline as it was a beautiful day when all of a sudden a man walking the down the aisle grabbed the phone out of my hand and started walking away. I got up and he started yelling why are you taking a photo of me and was very upset. I got up to try get my phone back and told him I was just taking a picture of the outside and he got more upset and the threw the phone across the whole carriage and it broke. He proceeded to walk away to the next carriage and my wife found my phone on the ground fully broken and unable to work besides a corner of it. I was in a state of shock and also was scared if went after him he may have a weapon.

Is there anything I can do for this? Somehow my phone took a video of some of the interaction (even though I was on picture mode) and I was able to salvage it. Upset as I am big advocate of MARTA..

Question about creatine

This is a personal question about my journey with creatine supplement. For reference I am a board certified IM primary care doc but wanted input from nephrologist regarding my case

I am 29 years old and I go to the gym regularly. From 2024-Feb 2026 I was taking creatine and on my normal blood work, my creatinine as expected was elevated 1.5 was the peak when taking 5 grams daily. I has my pcp at the time do cystatin c in 2025 came back 1.29 which high normal borderline almost high. Gfr corresponded to 63. This was August 2025. I wasn’t thinking much of it and continued taking the supplement. No symptoms at all. Come Feb 2026 has blood work again and cr came back 1.51 and had them order cystatin c again and it came back high 1.39. I was shocked. I also had some mild micro albuminemia which maybe from lifting weights? So I planned on stopping taking the supplement and told my pcp to order repeat labs in 8 weeks with bmp and cystatin c and urine microalbumin.

However before the time of me stopping the supplement I had my pcp order other blood work as add on from my visit (lpa etc) so I went to get that done but the lab messed up and also drew another cystatin c (guess they saw an old order) and it came back normal… 1.13. But mind you I had not stopped taking the supplement yet.

So then I stopped taking supplement for 3 months now and will be getting my cystatin c and cr checked in couple days. But how would yall proceed? Is it true kidney damage or fluctuating from weight lifting or something else?

Any pts yall had with similar situation? I’m healthy overall not family hx of kidney issues. Prediabetes (bad genetics) and hld very mild.

My wife and I late 20s are visiting Austin for a weekend, mid May. What are some must do/see things? Areas to explore? We don’t drink so not too much into bars. We are also vegetarian so any recommendations for food spots?

A patient who I am seeing from time to time since their actual pcp is hard to get into asked me today why Ihe was being charged a level 4 and that the other doc never does that. It caught me off guard. I didn’t know how to properly respond. I just said that I bill based off what we talked about and how many issues you have and that I’m not sure how the other provider does it and that I don’t deal with insurance billing. The other provider def not billing correctly.

I have heard mixed reviews and opinions about getting one. My wife is in her late 20s, she works out and all but lately she’s been having trouble with sleep. We are also thinking of starting a family soon, and she would like the menstrual cycle tracking feature. Has anyone had a positive impact on any of these things with the ring?
