derm visit freaked me out

36F saw derm today as a new patient for first visit ever. I spent loads of time in the sun as a kid / teen growing up in a sunny CA beach town. I recently got a sunburn pretty bad and that made me think I should get a (first) annual. The visit was kinda crazy - I was in there for no more than 5 minutes and accomplished a cherry angioma getting burnt off per my request, the quickest whole body skin check ever that resulted in two skin scrapings (moles) he wanted to test; and an RX for tret I requested. Now, 10 hours later I’m a little concerned that the mole removals for testing are still bleeding when I removed the bandage. Obviously I’ve been googling melanoma info for hours. And looking for a goodrx coupon for tret. Anyone else who’s had mole scraped for testing, when did they stop bleeding?

Keswick theater showing and Q+A in PA 10/28

Anyone going? I used to live a mile from the theater in Glenside and went once for Henry Rollins spoken word (lol). I live about an hour away now in central bucks but want to go. Don’t have a ticket yet. Anyone want to hang?

how well can cavies go up and down steep stairs?

👋 hello there - I am a mom, we own our house, we have a three year old, one adult cat who is incredibly chill, one elderly cat (18 yr). I worked as a vet tech for many years and I have always wanted a King Charles. I think we may be ready next spring, when my daughter is a bit older and maybe when the 18 year old cat has passed (☹️) but what I worry about is the stairs in our home. We have a two level house, sleep upstairs. The home is 1840s and the stairs are steep and have a curve in them. The cats have no problem - they’re cats - even the old one. Does anyone out there probably on the east coast too have similar antique stairs? I am wondering if it’s possible for us to have a smalll to medium sized dog in our home. Any experience feedback welcome. This sub doesn’t allow photo uploads or else I’d share the steps, hopefully I did the Imgur links correctly. Thanks

explain belmar to me like I’m 5

semi-recent California to Bucks County PA mom who lives the beach and my kid loves the beach. The area we used to go to based on a friends recommendation, a teeny tiny spot south of Cape May, is super nice and super chill. But it’s 2.5 hrs from me. A different friend told us we should check out Belmar. Well we went today Tuesday 5/19 and I have QUESTIONS. I am 36 and I felt like a dinosaur. Seriously every one there did not even seem old enough to drink. High schools are still in, did every kid in NJ skip today and go to Bel Mar? It was super super super crowded, the area around Playa Bowls where we were was insane, lines of 100 teens waiting out the door just to get into 7/11, and it took me 20 mins of circling to find a parking spot and I got blessedly lucky. I understand beach tags go into effect after this weekends holiday, after that happens is it less crowded? Is it a noticeable night and day difference? PS not complaining. My kid LOVED it and while we were feet away from everyone else around us everyone was super chill and the water was very clear.🐚🧜‍♀️
