Just noticed this in my 2008 GV V6 auto prestige, is this oem?

Just noticed this under my front passenger seat. I always thought it was an air conditioning component but just saw it literally says 'active sub woofer' on it. Did this come with the car or did someone put this in it?

Sorry for the bad photos Its a tight space under there lol

Looking for bulk fake nail recommendations

As the title says I'm looking for somewhere I can buy bulk fake glue on nails. Preferably plain like white or pink or even clear.

I want thicker fake nails that will imitate the thickness of acrylic nails. I found this pack of kiss nails at my chemist that are perfect but it's $20 aud for one pack and only 1 set of 2 thumbs that fit my fingers because they're quite wide.

Amazon recommendations preferred but would look at other delivery sites. Thanks in advance.

I want to be able to do my own nails and have used glamrdip, tried premades from nail artists but am ultimately looking for a cheaper option. Just press ons that I can't paint myself and add stickers to if I feel like it that will last as long as possible.

How hard is it to put on a tow bar/hitch?

I've got a 2008 5 door GV and have thought about putting a tow bar on since I've owned it but never had a reason to. Long story short I'm looking into getting one. But I called a shop and was told it'd be $2000 AUD roughly.

I know you have to wire it in and all that but could you DIY this? Where would I order all the parts from and what tools would I need? Tia for any advice or input

boyfriend thinks he got scammed by his family friend mechanic who replaced the sump gasket on his 2010 commodore ss. I think its fair.

So this mechanic charged him around $800 AUD for the replacement of a sump gasket on my boyfriends 2010 holden commodore ss that he recently inherited. The work needed to be done for a roadworthy. Hes now asking his coworkers about it who 'know cars' and they all say its an 'easy job' and that the mechanic charged too much. What do you guys think? the cost included the new oil and filter.

Edit: its the L98 engine in the sedan body if that helps

Does Matt use auto tune on live performances?

I have a hard time telling if some artists use auto tune during live shows. Obviously I understand there is usually some live effects but some voices are just really hard for me to tell if they're using them or not.

For example I'm not a fan of sleep token just because of how overly produced their music and the singers voice especially sound to me.

I have 0 evidence for any of this it's just genuine curiosity. Some clips I've seen from their tour online to me it sounds like there's something added to his vocals but now I'm watching their set from hellfest and it sounds a lot more raw.

How good are bvb on a technical scale?

I am asking as someone who knows very little about musical instruments and technicality.

I was just thinking about it after watching them play at hellfest without CC.

For example if people play guitar how difficult would it be to play Jake's lead guitar parts? Is he up there with the skilled guitarists of the music industry?

Just curious on everyone's thoughts :)

Maybe a hot take but I wish dragonflights gave dragon xp

Its never made sense to me that sending dragons on dragonflights doesn't award even just a little xp to the relevant skill.

I try to level up all my drags manually using minimal pots and it takes sooo long. I'm at 13 slots for dragonflights and barely have enough levelled dragons to fill out those 13 spots. But if I have 13 drags on dragonflights then I can't level them up more. Idk if it's just me tho

Rust appearing under back window of 2008 GV

So I've got a nice pearlescent white GV that at some point got some damage to the rear window as it's been replaced (and kind of poorly too the rear wiper doesn't make full contact with the top of the window)

I bought the car 2 years ago with an obvious deep scratch under the window that I've been meaning to address but recently I've noticed more rust spots appearing in the sill of the window. I will admit I went a while without washing the car (maybe like 7-8 months) which has definitely not helped but I believe it's from water pooling under the window. Does anyone know how I could stop this from happening? I'm planning to take my car to get some minor bodywork done as it's just got some scratches and things from age like rock chips. So I'll get them to fix these rust spots.

But after I get the rust spots addressed I want to prevent them from reappearing. I know a lot of cars have that black plastic trim around windows but the GV doesn't. Is there a way to add some?

Photos to show the obvious deep scratch and rust spots appearing.
