Looking for something light and easy

My trial sub is about to run out and I’ve run the gamut. A bit overwhelmed with the inordinate amount of mysteries on here, although I cut my teeth on Poirot and Foyles War and such. Can anyone recommend something. Along the line of As Time Goes By or North and South? I guess I’m looking for a bit of soft romance with nothing tragic or weird or awful about it. Dare I say it - a bit old fashioned? TIA!!!! I only have a week left so can’t get into a mega series.

Is there something other than mysteries on Acorn to watch?

Yes, I know it’s sacrilege, but is Acorn pretty one dimensional? Are there other really good shows on it that focus on history or romance or comedy? For instance, I loved As Time Goes By. It seems like there have to be some others like that, too.

Don’t get me wrong I love a good mystery!

A16 question

I can’t stand how loud the clicking is when I write with my Ipencil. Is it just me? No, I don’t have a screen saver on it. And yes, you’re right, I can’t talk the tech talk too well - I just use it! Thanks for tips! Right now I feel like I’m announcing to the world every time I start writing……
