23 mpg in the city

That's my best real-world fuel consumption in the city, A quarter of a tank lasts me approximately 100 mi

It's a manual transmission with the 2.0 engine only.

Damn, that's only 3.6 mpg more than an old Nissan D21 I used to have.My question is, is this fuel consumption completely normal in the city? Has anyone achieved better fuel economy?

Slight play in both front CV joints, thickness of front brake pads and brake fluid change

Subaru XV/Crosstrek '2019 6MT With 83k km or 51k miles

Hey guys, I'm going to change the brake fluid myself. I removed the front wheels and I'm also checking the steering and suspension components, which still look to be in good condition.

However, I've found that both outer ends of the front CV joints have very slight play, and also that when I turn the steering wheel almost all the way, there's a "click clack" sound. But it only happens when I've used the car for more than two hours; it doesn't happen when it's "cold".

I want to know if the play in both CV joints is normal or not...

Guys, I have a Renix MJ 2.5 TBI and I'm about to change the fuel tank and the fuel pump assembly

I bought a fuel pump assembly for a 1990 MJ, but with a 4.0 L6 engine (because I couldn't find the original assembly for the 2.5), so it comes with a 90-100 PSI pump.

My question is whether the TBI injection system can handle that many PSI?

If I install that high-pressure pump for the MPI system of the inline-6, will it damage anything in my Renix TBI system?

Or is it better to just replace the pump with a low-pressure one ideal for the Renix TBI?

Guys, what's the optimal speed for highway driving? I have an MJ 2.5 Renix, 4MT RWD with a 4.10 differential ratio.

I don't know what the fastest I can travel is without overstressing the engine and other components.
