I’m starting my apprenticeship as a plant fitter but I’m having a few doubts, I’ve left my part time job so there’s nothing really for me to fall back on but I’ve always wanted to get into electrical, plumbing or gas and heating and just feel like it’s impossible to get into one of them trades. Starting the apprenticeship this coming Wednesday but yeah.
Hi, I just wanted to ask if anyone could help me with finding one of the 3 apprenticeships Ive been trying for 2 years to find an apprenticeship doing one of the 3 but it is really hard. I will travel to any part of London and I’m willing to put the work in. Anyone can help please let me know. All help is appreciated❤️
How can one get an electrical apprenticeship in London. It feels like you have to sell your soul to get an apprenticeship nowadays I’ve had many interviews no one’s getting back. I’m originally from east London but I’d be willing to travel to any part of London to do either an electrical, plumbing or a gas and heating apprenticeship.
My uncle works for TfL and has applied for a +1/Staff Nominee Oyster for me.
TfL have said they’re currently investigating an old nominee Oyster belonging to my cousin due to suspected misuse. That card was confiscated by TfL and a fine was issued and paid.
Could this investigation affect me getting my own nominee Oyster through my uncle, or should it still be approved once the investigation is completed? Has anyone experienced something similar?
I got on the Elizabeth line and ticket inspectors stopped me, I gave them a fake name and address but I tapped my card onto their reader thing so I’m not sure as to what’s gonna happen now. Would they still find out who I am and send me a fine? Or will they forget about it?
