phone overheating from basic normal usage and battery draining way too fast

hello i have this phone since now 2 years, got it as a refurb, and now i'm experiencing (since a few months actually) battery draining pretty fast (like when i check app usage on the battery settings, it only adds up to half of what's truly been drained, and i can't find any hidden battery guzzlers) and overheating to like 60c on the top half from basic usage like discord internet small graphically light games etc and it's getting concerning, would the overheating be caused by the out-of-shape battery? i have an appointment next week to change it out but i wonder if it'll fix the overheating bc it's mildly concerning; it's still on one ui 6 because updating to one ui 7 scares me aha (is it even worth it?); i've considered changing it but otherwise it works just fine and it's just a beautiful phone (it's phantom silver) with amazing features (however i'm not a fan of how huge it is, i wish it wasn't standard to have only telephoto lenses on huge slabs)

mattress too thin for heavy adult, how to make it better

hello i've recently been given a new mattress, because my current/old one is.. well, old, and definitely caved in (*new meaning unused, technically it's discontinued now) but it's too thin for daily usage for a 70-80kg 165cm adult that sleeps on their side, it's 12cm thick and medium firmness, it's a malfors from ikea; any idea how to fix the too thin/not enough support issue without breaking the bank? i'm thinking either another cheap mattress from ikea (might end up a bit thick instead) or one of their toppers.. but nothing seems firm enough, malfors has a foam density of 28kg/m3 and so does the new one that kinda replaced it but it would be double 12cm it's gonna be hella thick (and my bed is a motorized bendable bed) the other option is the cheaper 10cm thick one with a foam density of 25kg/m3 (ps: i am in europe so please avoid suggesting things that would cost hundreds to ship thanks)

tldr how to get better support for a heavy little side sleeping adult with a 12cm medium firmness base mattress for cheap? (sorry if flair is wrong)

can i cut a long ribbon out from a pair of pants?

what the title says, let's say i cut in a spiral pattern the pant legs that would make for a long ribbon right? (well 2, one for each leg), asking bc it's cheaper to thrift some pants (or skirt/dress) and do something with them than just buy ribbon for projects
