Is there a way to get rid of the white plastic like part ?

Is there a way to get rid of the white plastic like part ?

So, my mom just recently got a bunch of those t-shirts for free, but they're too small for her so she gave them to me

And I absolutely ADORE that color

It's a bright red, but not neon, it's really pretty, and really rare to find clothes in that shade of red particularly

The thing is, they're all coca cola shirts, and I don't want to just be a walking coca cola ad whenever I wear them, + if I can get rid of the text/white parts I could customize it too

Is there any ways to remove it without damaging the tshirt ?

Does anyone know how I can restore the print on this backpack?

I was thinking of using fabric paint and a small brush? Do you think it will be effective enough?

My first time ever painting clothes/patches, I had a ton of fun with this one! 🌪️

It ended up selling before I finished all the patches for it, so I may never see the final version, but I’m happy it found its new home! I got more jackets to paint though cause I loved it so much

Trying to dye my synthetic/rayon (?) prom dress…

Attempting to get this dress to a purple like the example on the last slide, but still keep the vibrancy so it shows through the black sheer layer. there’s no tags, but i did a small burn test and I think it’s a rayon/polyester blend? I’ve got Rit Dyemore in Royal purple and very little experience dyeing… desperate for tips/reviews of Rit for synthetics, any advice and warnings are appreciated. Thanks!

Not sure if this fits here but I dripped some super glue in my favorite pair of pants and now it won’t come out! Anyone got tips to help??

I tried scrubbing with nail polish remover soaked rag and it didn’t seem to do much. If it matters the label says it has 100% Cotten shell fabric and 100% polyester lining, the glue is on the outside near the crotch seam.

I love my heat press (all designs by me!)

I've been really enjoying the process of getting my designs onto real clothes in real life!! It's so satisfying when it starts on a screen and ends up physically existing, and on someone's body at that! Hoping that maybe one day I'll make something of myself by doing this. Or at least move out of my bloody mum's house lol.

Can I make my shorts brighter?

I ordered a pair of camo cargos, and their a little bit darker than I had hoped , is there any way I can make them brighter to fit grey tones better? As shown in the second picture

Dye to cover up detergent "burns"

I have a handful of cotton or cotton/poly t-shirts that have discolored spots that I guess are from the detergent sitting in that spot too long.

I would like to dye them a solid color (most likely black), but the last time I had anything to do with fabric dye was maybe 35 years ago and I would like to not screw it up, or dye myself more than the clothes.

I have a clean 5-gallon bucket I'm willing to sacrifice for this. Is there more to it than put the dye in the bucket, add water, add shirts, and let it sit? I can't help feeling like that's too simple.

Looks printed on, ironed on? Smooth to the touch. Google says heat and acetone but im afraid of damaging the levi denim

what material would make these shoes

want to make these type of shoes but i’m having trouble with the body of the shoe. it’s like holographic and i was wondering if there’s something i can do to replicate that. my only theory right now is maybe find some fun colored aluminum foil(???) and like hair dry it on somehow??

how to remove the whole print without damaging the fabric? can I use usual tricks like acetone? it doesn’t look like it peels

I understand there’s a FAQ with similar answers but I couldn’t find an example close to the fabric of this jacket and I’m afraid of staining it.

New prints on new (thrifted) clothes!

I love taking boring thrifted clothes and making them exciting. Each print with a linocut block is different, which makes all of them so exciting!

Using Fray Check on delicate fabrics

Has anyone *successfully* hemmed a chiffon or satin dress by cutting it and simply sealing the raw edge with fray check?

(No sewing - quick fix)

Renovation ideas

I have this coat, but it’s in really bad shape. Does anyone have any ideas what I could do with it? Maybe how to restore it or turn it into something new? Any advice would help

Made this hoodie using my own art and a hand-drawn organic design

Used my own artwork for the DTF print and added a hand-designed organic pattern on the back.
Still experimenting, but I’m really happy with how this one came out
