Anyone else watching the creative burst coming from this new technology and thinking "WOW, holy shit! Freaking amazing!"?

Not going to get into any argument but despite all the doom and gloom and end of the world crap that fear of technology is stirring up, im genuinely excited!

We will have a lot to sort out when it comes to things like the job market and access to information but if we can be honest and say AI has things to be concerned about then we can be honest when we say its capable of doing amazing things.

I scroll through this group and check out what people are creating and its like being on the verge of a new renaissance. We can run a lot of this stuff locally, we can create in a way that wasn't available to most of us, and some things that no one had available before.

Anyone who's been around for awhile will remember how digital came into the movie industry, everyone was shitting themselves except for the trend setters who recognized the advantages of the medium and went hog wild.

Legit question: why does everyone get piled on the second they criticize a product? Starting to think the defensive comments and hyped reviews are just company shills working undercover.
